Policies

For clarity of my services to you, it is necessary for me to have a full portfolio of Policies and Procedures in place for parents to view or familiarise themselves with. I regularly review these policies together with a comprehensive Risk Assessment of my setting to ensure it remains a safe, secure and consistent with regulated childcare requirements. Below are some of them:
Illness
Please inform me if your child has been ill during the night or is not feeling well upon arrival. We do not take children that are severely ill; for example running very high temperature, vomiting, diarrhea, chicken pox, or any other contagious skin conditions.

If your child becomes ill while in my care, i will contact you immediately and we can decide together if you should come pick him/her up.Childminders requirement on medication is that any medication which is to be administered to any child must be accompanied by a written consent of parents or a prescription from your child’s GP. All medications must supplied by the parent and kept in their original containers.

I would be more than happy to take you through my full policies and procedures to ensure you are confident in my setting and happy with the services that I provide.
